Our goal is to learn how the Bible can teach us to conform even our business to the image of Christ.
Christians are people. And people run business. So, we believe that businesses should operate in a way that brings honor and glory to God.
Being a Christian doesn’t stop at the workplace. In fact, while in the public, it is even more important to present Christianity as a testimony of truth.
“You are the light of the world. A city that is set on a hill cannot be hidden. Nor do they light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on a lamp-stand, and it gives light to all who are in the house. Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven.” (Matthew 5:14-16)
Applying biblical principles to how we operate business is crucial in living out our Christian life because our work is a part of our life.
And whatever you do, do it heartily, as to the Lord and not to men (Colossians 3:23)
Our current culture is struggling and mislead by a secular worldview that suggests that our Christian beliefs are not needed in the workplace or business. That our businesses should be “neutral,” but what we see in the marketplace is anything but neutral. Many companies are hostile toward Christianity which means they are hostile toward truth. This means they openly teach secularism and openly oppose biblical truth. We see many businesses publicly promote and glorify sinful thinking and behavior.
We must present the world with the truth. We must live out our Christian faith among the people and spread the gospel of Christ. This is our mission. And we’re just getting started.
